Teamsters' Finances

Remember, the Teamsters Union is a big business.  But it doesn’t sell anything.  It operates only off the money you, the members, pay in dues, fines and assessments.

Every union has to file an annual report with the Federal Government known as an LM2.  This document shows where the union spends your money.  The Teamsters recent LM2 shows the union collected more than $158 million dollars from its members. $158 million.  However, the Teamsters spent more than $160 million dollars.  The Teamsters spent more than $2 million dollars more than they took in.  Now, you know why they’re trying to organize you.  They need more dues, more fines and more assessments . . . your dues, your fines, your assessments.
